Intelitek Edu Solution Design AC Single Phase Transformer to get two phase supply from Three phase Transformer by Scott Connection. The Scott connection is a method used to convert a three-phase supply into a two-phase supply using two transformers. In this configuration, one transformer (the “main” transformer) is connected across two phases of the three-phase supply, while the second transformer (the “teaser” transformer) is connected between the third phase and a center tap on the main transformer.

This connection allows the balanced transformation of three-phase power into two-phase power with equal voltages, enabling the use of two-phase equipment in systems where only three-phase power is available. It is commonly used in certain industrial and railway applications where two-phase motors are employed.

2 Nos. Single Phase Transformer 1 KVA 230/230V with Tapings at 50% & 86.6% Naturally Air Cooled Copper Double wound, Shell type. The transformer will be housed in MS sheet box enclosure with rubber footings. All the terminals of primary & secondary shall be brought over to Bakelite sheet fitted on top of the box through insulated terminals.

Control Panel Board :-Rust free powder coated control board made up of Sheet metal enclosure of minimum thickness 1.5 mm. The Enclosure is open from front side for fitting Instruments and accessories as detailed below with connection symbols Engraved on Bakelite plate.

The Control panel should be provided to fit the instruments mentioned below:

(i) Digital AC Voltmeter Micro-controller based, 48 x 96mm, 0-300V – 1 No.

(ii) Digital AC Voltmeter Micro-controller based, 48 x 96mm, 0-500V – 1 No.

(iii) Digital AC Ammeter Micro-controller based, 48 x 96mm, 0-10A – 5 Nos.

(iv) TPN MCB 10 Amp – 01 No.

(v) Indicating Lamps LED type 16 mm dia – 3 Nos.

(vi) Insulating terminals

(vii) Patch chords.

(viii) Instruction manual.

CONTROL DESK :

The control desk made of Size 40mm x 40mm tubular mild steel, Siemens Grey colour powder coated with wooden top on the working area. The working area of table Length = 950mm x Width= 760mm x Height= 950mm and made of 19mm marine plywood fitted with Ivory colour mica sheet on top with teakwood lipping on outer edges of plyboard top.

(i) Three Phase Variac 8 Amp. Enclosed type and output terminals brought out for ease of connections – 01 No.

(ii) Single Phase Resistive Load 2.5 KW, 250V Trolley type with m.s. sheet enclosure operated through rotary switches in steps – 1 No.
