Specification:
1.GSR Sensor:
Grove – GSR Sensor stands for galvanic skin response and it is a method of measuring the electrical conductance of the skin. It can be used to reflect the human emotional activity. When we are emotionally stressed or have strong expressions on the face, sympathetic activity increases and promotes the secretion of sweat glands, which increases the skin’s electrical conductivity.
Grove – GSR allows you to spot such strong emotions by simply attaching two electrodes to two fingers on one hand. It is an interesting gear to create emotion related projects like sleep quality monitor. In some galvanic skin response devices such as lie detectors, this scientific principle is also applied.
2.EMG Sensor:
EMG detector is a bridge that connects the human body and electrical, the sensor gathers small muscle signal then process with 2th amplify and filter, the output signal can be recognized by Arduino. You can add this signal to your control system. Note: The sensor cannot be used for medical purposes. In standby mode, the output voltage is 1.5V. When detect muscle is active, the output signal rises up, the maximum voltage is 3.3V. You can use this sensor in a 3.3V or 5V system.
3.ECG Sensor:
The Heart Rate Monitor Sensor is used to measure the electrical activity of the heart. This electrical activity can be charted as an ECG and output as an analog reading. An ECG signal can be extremely noisy so we have included an AD8232 chip which will generate a clear signal from the PR and QT Intervals. Using the Arduino IDE “Serial Plotter” feature, you are also able to view plotted ECG output on a PC easing the difficulty of using this sensor, a gravity Interface is adapted to allow plug&play.
The IO expansion shield is the best match for this sound sensor connecting to your Arduino. As this sensor can work at 3.3V which makes it compatible with raspberry pie, intel Edison, joule, and curie.
4.Co2 Gas Sensor:
The VOC and eCO2 Gas Sensor (SGP30) is an air quality detection sensor. This grove module is based on SGP30, we provide TVOC(Total Volatile Organic Compounds) and CO2eq output for this module. The SGP30 is a digital multi-pixel gas sensor designed for easy integration into the air purifiers, demand-controlled ventilation, and IoT applications. Sensirion’s CMOSens®technology offers a complete sensor system on a single chip featuring a digital I2C interface, a temperature-controlled micro hotplate, and two preprocessed indoor air quality signals. As the first metal-oxide gas sensor featuring multiple sensing elements on one chip, the SGP30 provides more detailed information about air quality.
5. Heart Rate & Oximeter Sensor:
Heart rate and blood oxygen sensor module integrates the Maxim MAX30102 chip and an MCU with heart rate and blood oxygen algorithm. The MAX30102 uses PPG(PhotoPlethysmoGraphy) to measure data, which will be converted into heart rate and oximetry values when processed by the MCU, then output through I2C or UART, making the sensor easy to use and greatly reducing resource occupation of the main controller. Meanwhile, the corresponding upper computer is provided to allow you to conveniently read data by a PC.
6.IR Temperature Sensor:
We can divide temperature measurement into two types: contact and non-contact. Contact measurement can only accurately measure temperature when the testing object and the sensor reach thermal equilibrium. This can mean longer response times and reading inaccuracies offset by ambient temperature. By contrast, non- contact measurement uses infra-red radiation to measure the temperature and does not require a direct touch. Additionally, this method of measurement can be read quickly and accurately.
In recent years non-contact measurement methods have been used for medical, environmental monitoring, home automation, automotive electronics, aerospace, and military applications.
